Answers Before You Ask

Freight decisions stall on unanswered questions. These are the operational, compliance, and integration answers that matter before you engage.

— Visibility & Tracking

How does real-time tracking work?

Every custody transfer — port handoff, customs release, warehouse intake, last-mile pickup — triggers an automatic status update in the KHGM dashboard. No black-box legs, no manual check-ins.

Can we integrate tracking into our own systems?

Yes. KHGM exposes a REST API and webhook stream for shipment events. Standard ERP and TMS connectors are documented; bespoke integrations are scoped during onboarding.

What happens when a shipment is delayed?

Predictive routing flags congestion, port delays, and weather disruptions up to 72 hours ahead. Rerouting options are presented in the dashboard before a delay becomes a missed deadline.

— Documentation & Compliance

Who handles customs filings?

Customs declarations, HS code classification, and duty calculations are processed inside the KHGM platform. Clients upload commercial invoices; the platform generates and submits the required filings.

Which trade corridors are supported?

KHGM operates compliance-native across EU, UK, US, and major Asia-Pacific lanes. Sanctions screening and restricted-party checks run automatically at booking on every route.

How is sensitive cargo documentation managed?

All cargo documentation is encrypted at rest and in transit, with role-based access controls. Audit trails are retained for seven years in line with standard trade compliance requirements.

— Onboarding & Operations

How long does onboarding take?

Standard freight lanes are live within two weeks: account setup, lane configuration, and API activation. Multi-modal or complex cross-border routes are individually scoped before activation.

What data do we need to provide at onboarding?

Typical origin and destination pairs, commodity types, expected volumes, and any existing carrier contracts. KHGM maps those inputs against live route data before the first booking.

Can existing warehouse operations be integrated?

Yes. KHGM's WMS connector syncs inbound and outbound inventory events with your existing warehouse infrastructure. No rip-and-replace required for standard WMS platforms.

Still have a question not covered here?

Our operations team responds to freight inquiries within one business day. Bring your route data and we will map it against live capacity.
